I specialise in making and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as, where appropriate, registering Enduring Powers of Attorney. I also make applications in The Court of Protection.

I have been making Lasting Powers of Attorney since the “new” ones were introduced in October 2007 and have considerable experience in dealing with the problems which can arise.

My aim is to provide a bespoke service. I will guide you through all the decisions which have to be made and complete the papers very promptly. I usually see clients in their own home and I will make appointments in the evening as well as at weekends.

Making a Lasting Power of Attorney is all about trust.
You may have concerns about who to choose as your attorneys if one family member does not get on well with another or, is estranged. I will give you all the time you need to discuss these sensitive issues.

We can talk also about whether a Health and Welfare deed is right for you and consider the difficult, but important, option of authorising your attorneys to consent to or refuse consent to life-sustaining treatment.

I was a solicitor in high street practices in Oxfordshire and Lancashire for many years.

Nearly six years ago, I set up my own business, “Premier Powers of Attorney” as a non-practising solicitor, and I work, from home, in Ilkley.
